This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you join or interact with The Brunch Club, a guest list and rewards program operated at The Vig West Loop in Chicago, Illinois. The Brunch Club is owned and operated by The Vig West Loop LLC and Legacy Hospitality Management LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). The program is currently offered for The Vig West Loop only.
Information we collect
When you sign up for The Brunch Club, we collect the information you give us:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your birthday (month and day only, used for birthday perks)
- Your mobile phone number (optional, only if you choose to give it and opt in to texts)
We also automatically collect basic technical information when you visit the site, such as your browser type, device, and general usage, through standard web tools. We do not use this to identify you personally.
We may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels, and similar technologies to understand website traffic and improve user experience.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- Send you email updates about events, DJ pop-ups, members-only deals, and priority reservations.
- Send you a birthday offer during your birthday month.
- Send you text messages, but only if you check the SMS opt-in box and provide a mobile number.
- Operate, maintain, and improve The Brunch Club program.
Email messaging and data storage
When you submit the sign-up form, your information is first collected and stored in Google Sheets using a Google Apps Script web app (both provided by Google LLC). We use Mailchimp (an email marketing service provided by Intuit Mailchimp) to store our subscriber list and send our emails. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time, and we will stop sending them. The privacy practices of Google and Mailchimp apply to information processed through their platforms.
Text (SMS) messaging
We only send text messages if you provide a mobile number and check the SMS consent box at sign-up. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from The Brunch Club at The Vig West Loop at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, and reply HELP for help. Your consent to receive marketing text messages is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information related to your SMS subscription is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We only use trusted providers (such as our messaging and email platforms) to deliver the messages you asked for.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the program (specifically Mailchimp for email marketing, and Google Sheets and Google Apps Script for form collection and data storage), and only so they can perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How we protect your information
We use reputable, security-minded service providers to store and process your information, and we limit access to it to the people who need it to run the program. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are part of The Brunch Club, or as needed to provide the program and meet our legal obligations. We will delete or anonymize information where reasonably practical, subject to legal, accounting, operational, and record-retention requirements.
Your choices
- Email: click "unsubscribe" in any email.
- Text: reply STOP to any message.
- Deletion: contact us (below) to request that we delete your information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and to withdraw consent to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@thevigwestloop.com.
Age requirement
The Brunch Club is intended for individuals 21 years of age or older because it relates to a venue that serves alcohol. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe someone under 21 has signed up, please contact us so we can remove their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
